We are a welcoming community practicing mindfulness in the tradition of Zen master Thich Nhat Hanh. Our sangha is based in Kingston, Ontario, Canada, but we meet online (via Zoom) and welcome newcomers as well as long-time practitioners from anywhere in the world. Note: our meetings are conducted in English.
We gather weekly to practice sitting mindfulness meditation, learn together, and share our experiences using loving speech and deep listening. We also practice singing meditation, with original chants and songs from the Plum Village tradition taught “call and response” style.
Zen Master Thich Nhat Hanh is a global spiritual leader, poet and peace activist, revered throughout the world for his powerful teachings and bestselling writings on mindfulness and peace.
His key teaching is that we can learn to live happily in the present moment through mindfulness. This is the only way to truly develop peace, both in one’s self and in the world.
